THE HARDWARE DESERVES A CLOSER LOOK

Specialty door & multipoint lock repairs.

A handle that sags, a door that needs lifting to lock, or a multipoint mechanism that will not engage can involve more than the cylinder. The door alignment, latch and internal mechanism all matter.

We work with Andersen, Marvin and HOPPE mechanisms, mortise locks and specialty trim. Repair or replacement depends on the condition of the hardware and the availability of compatible parts.

Matt Sichel, owner of Twinforks Locksmith

FAMILY OWNED SINCE 2014

Meet Matt, the owner.

I’m Matt Sichel, owner of Twinforks Locksmith and a retired NYPD officer. Our family-owned team serves homes and businesses across Suffolk County, from Western Suffolk to the North Fork and Hamptons.

From everyday lock problems to specialty door hardware, we’ll explain what needs attention and the options for your property.

A CLEAR NEXT STEP

From the first call to the right repair.

01

Tell us the town and the problem.

For a lockout, describe what is locked. For repairs, the lock brand and photos of the hardware can help identify the work.

02

Discuss service and availability.

We will talk through the job, the information needed for an estimate and current scheduling. Timing depends on the location and work.

03

Get the right work for the door.

The service may involve rekeying, repair, replacement or new hardware. Compatibility and how the door operates guide the recommendation.

QUICK ANSWERS

Suffolk County locksmith questions, answered.

Yes. Twinforks Locksmith provides mobile service across Suffolk County, including the North Fork, South Fork and Hamptons, plus Western and Central Suffolk. Call with your town and the work needed to confirm current availability.

Our stated service hours are daily, 8 AM–8 PM. Call 631-204-8209 for current availability. Appointment timing depends on your location, the job and the schedule.

We work on multipoint mechanisms and specialty door hardware, including Andersen, Marvin and HOPPE. A repair depends on the condition of the lock and door, and whether compatible parts are available. Photos of the door edge and hardware are helpful.

Rekeying changes which key operates a compatible existing lock. It may suit a move or lost-key situation when the hardware is in good condition. Damaged hardware, a different finish or new access features may call for replacement instead.

Yes. We install compatible smart locks and keypads. Tell us the door type, existing lock and features you want. Remote access and guest-code options depend on the model and its connectivity; reliable door fit and latching are essential.

We provide vehicle lockout help and commercial locksmith services. For a car lockout, have the location, make, model and year ready. For commercial work, describe the lock, closer, exit device or access-control problem.

Call or use the request form with your town, the problem and any known hardware details. The price depends on the service, door or lock condition and parts required. A photo can help, and some jobs require an on-site assessment.
